The 4x4 Van Conversion Process The Process

With over 10,000 conversions behind us, we have developed a four wheel drive van that is safe, reliable, and easy to maintain.

As part of the process, the 2WD front end components are removed and replaced with a new heavy duty front drive axle, smooth riding front suspension, and steering components that eliminate the 'bump steer' found in other conversions and factory 4x4s. We have also developed an innovative system that uses the stock brakes, wheels, and tires and retrofits the original ABS and sway control systems to ensure your safety while on the road. Using the factory parts ensures that future maintenance will be quick and easy.

To transfer power from the transmission to the front axle, we always install the most durable transfer case available. In fact, the transfer case we install in all new ford vans is the same model used in the F550 pickup! When the conversion is complete, you will be able to easily shift between 2WD and 4WD as well as an extremely low 4WD gear for those extra nasty off-road conditions.

With a significantly tighter turning radius than factory, an extra smooth ride, and the versatility of four wheel drive, our conversion will leave you with a smile on your face and an incredible sense of security. In fact, if you didn't know it was a conversion, you'd think it was factory!
